来春に卒業予定の高校生のうち、就職希望者の内定率が１０月末現在、前年同期比３・２ポイント増の６７・４％に上り、５年連続で増加したことが１７日、文部科学省の調査で分かった。
高校生の卒業予定者１０９万３９７２人のうち、就職希望者は２１万３７０２人で、内定者は１４万３９５４人だった。内定率を男女別で見ると、男子は７２・２％（前年同期比２・９ポイント増）、女子は６１・０％（同３・４ポイント増）だった。
同省では「団塊の世代の大量退職で、企業は人手不足が続いている。内定率は今後も上昇するのではないか」とみている。
