関係者によると、ニッコーのほかに申告漏れを指摘されたのは、関連会社の人材派遣会社「ラン」（同市中村区）と、ニッコーの創業者が経営にかかわった不動産賃貸会社「アロン」（同市東区）、貸金会社「楽宴」（同市北区）の３社。
ニッコーの創業者は２００６年２月に死亡したが、個人的損失をニッコーなどの貸し倒れ金として処理したり、勤務実態のない親族に役員報酬を支払ったりして、所得を圧縮していた。
ニッコーは「国税局の指摘に従って修正している」としている。
民間調査会社によると、ニッコーは１９８４年設立。大手自動車会社などに社員を派遣しており、２００７年５月期の売り上げは約１１７億４４００万円。
